With the fascinators clipped, the Chardonnay shipped and (at least some of) the winners tipped, we were ready to host the 2018 Catalina Sounds Marquee
This kind of day, of course, requires the deep shade of a proper marquee. And there were none more accommodating than the Catalina Sounds Marquee at the 2018 Caulfield Cup Carnival.
After a hugely successful outing last year we were delighted to be asked back again for both the Blue Sapphire Stakes Day and Caulfield Cup Day.
And we took the opportunity to raise the stakes with our model planes hanging throughout the marquee – a nod to the amphibious passenger craft that the brand is named after. On Caulfield Cup Day we adorned the walls with work from one of our favourite artists and musicians, Daimon Downey.
The atmosphere attracted the likes of Olympian swimmer Mack Horton as well as Nadia Fairfax and Lisa Hamilton from See Want Shop, to name just a few. It really was the party of the carnival, and we’re already getting excited for next year.
