We’re always excited to spread the word whenever a new restaurant is added the Lucas Restaurants stable, but it was particularly special to work on the campaign for his latest venue, Maison Bâtard, which opened in November.
A love letter to Paris and Melbourne, Bâtard is a four-level blockbuster of a venue on the beautifully renovated heritage-listed site of the iconic Italian Society restaurant at the top of Bourke Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
It was nearly a decade in the making and shows it in the incredible attention to every small detail. The two-level restaurant is topped by a beautiful rooftop terrace and grounded by a plush basement supper club, making it a place to segue from lunch to drinks and beyond. It’s an understatement that KDPO was excited to be able to get the word out about how unique and special this place is.
After co-ordinating a week of soft opening for dinners for key media, influencers, VIPs and industry leaders, the resulting coverage was as gratifying as oysters and Champagne on the Maison Bâtard terrace – La Terrasse.
