Penny France

Moving to Australia from bonnie Scotland after university and setting up life in this great cultural capital, Penny has embraced Melbourne’s vibrant hospitality scene and also enjoys exploring Australia’s beautiful regions with her young family.

While her favourite food as a child was her mum’s (truly excellent) mashed potato, she’s now broadened her palate and couldn’t be happier relaxing with a glass of something crisp and antipasti snacks.

With a passion for sharing great stories about creative people, places and experiences, Penny has worked in strategic media, communications, and events for more than 15 years.

She has led the media teams for some of Australia’s cultural icons, from the National Gallery of Victoria and Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, to major tourism attractions like Queen Victoria Market, plus leading wineries and regions including Innocent Bystander in the Yarra Valley and the Winemakers of Rutherglen collective.
