Clifftop beauty Hotel Sorrento opened a new chapter in its 150-year history in December last year and KDPO was there to get the word out. The grand unveiling of its stunning makeover has cemented it as a leader in the Mornington Peninsula luxury-stay field.
Designed by Six Degrees Architecture and Jack Merlo landscape architects, the new look Hotel Sorrento is now a lavish resort destination featuring 13 new luxury sunset suites and conference facilities, Amalfi-worthy 30-metre swimming pool, a day spa and a signature restaurant overseen by chef George Calombaris.
The third-generation family business has a bright future ahead of it, covered in key print and online publications such as delicious, Escape, Herald Sun, Tourism Australia, Gourmet Traveller, AFR, Home Beautiful. The news even spread internationally with the likes of the New Zealand Herald.
