We’ll admit it: all of us here at KDPO are just a little bit addicted to fashion. In fact, we’re sure it’s embedded in our DNA, along with our collective love for the incredible style of Sydney-based lifestyle brand Bassike.
Launching their new boutique on Armadale’s High Street last October was a dream job. We jumped at the opportunity to show people a good time at bassike’s hip new `70s-chanelling haunt, celebrating with a night of cocktails, spinning vinyl and of course the Spring `22 collection.
We helped coordinate the entire event, including guestlist management, gifting, music, food and drinks, sourcing snacks from acclaimed High Street wine bar Auterra and cocktails from Midnight Mixers.
A tribe of Melbourne tastemakers were invited from across the fashion, music, hospitality and arts communities, including Katherine Denton, Nadia Bartel, Jack Charles, Sarah Lew, Suzy Eskander and Georgah Crane. It was a great party, the perfect way to celebrate the increasing presence of such an iconic Australian brand In Melbourne.
